Assigning diagnostic definitions
The Component Code field is required when assigning diagnostic definitions. Optionally, you may enter a value or select a value from the following fields: Unit ID, Fleet Description, Unit Type, or Correction Code. This allows maximum flexibility when creating diagnostics.
If any of these values are added to the assignment, then they must all be true for the diagnostic to print. For example, if you set up an assignment for Unit: 1010, Component code: 013, and Complaint: Leaking, then all three have to be true on the section for the diagnostic to print.
