Recording default load requirements
Load requirements specify special criteria that resources must (or should) meet before being assigned to an order. Although you can record load requirements manually for an order in Call On Demand Order Entry, you can have the system automatically attach requirements when a specific company, commodity or company/commodity pair is recorded on an order (default load requirements).
Default load requirements can be recorded for a company or for a commodity. Default load requirements are useful when you know in advance that certain load requirements should always be attached to an order when specific conditions exist.
Setting up the system to record default load requirements in Fuel Dispatch
You enter default load requirements for companies and commodities in their profiles. By default, you must use File Maintenance to add default load requirements. If you have access to File Maintenance, you can set up Fuel Dispatch to allow the editing of profiles using the [FuelDispatch]ProfileEditDisabled
setting. This allows you to enter default load requirements in Fuel Dispatch.
