Road calls

The Road Call module is used to manage incoming requests from within a breakdown call center or independent mobile service department.

Within the Road Call module, you can:

  • Record and track the units that have broken down and the calls that come into the shop

  • Maintain a list of the closest repair facilities

  • Create plans, repair orders (ROs), purchase orders (POs), and work pending orders

  • Modify existing RO sections

  • View ROs regardless of status

  • Enter, save, and share notes between employees

  • View unit information, including Preventive Maintenance (PMs) due, warranty, specifications, after-market warranty, and repair order history

  • Track time between initial call and the unit returning to the road

Please contact your Trimble customer representative to activate the Road Call module if it is not already available.

Set up Road Call Application Options

You can set up road call options in TMT Fleet Maintenance (TMT) by going to Menu > Setup > Options > Application Options > Road Calls. For more information, see Application Options: Road Calls.
