Getting started

This section of the help system provides instructions about how to get started in the application.

Most online help topics contain hyperlinks, or jumps, to additional related topics. To return to a previous topic after you clicked a hyperlink, you can right-click anywhere within the topic and, from the shortcut menu, select Back.

Depending on your browser, you can also press ALT+LEFT ARROW (this is a standard keyboard shortcut for Web go back) or BACKSPACE.

Logging into the website

Use this procedure to log into TMT Fleet Maintenance. If you do not have a username and password, contact your company’s TMT Fleet Maintenance administrator.

  1. On the Login page, enter information into the Username and Password fields.

    Field Definition

    Username

Enter the username that was provided to you. You can enter either uppercase or lowercase letters.

    Password

Enter the password that was initially provided to you. Remember that it is case-sensitive. For security reasons, when you enter a password, it displays as a series of dots.

Note: You can change that initial password after you have successfully logged into TMT Fleet Maintenance.

    Remember My Username

If you want TMT Fleet Maintenance to remember your username, select this checkbox. The next time you log in from this computer, your username appears automatically.

    Notes:

    1. You must have cookies enabled for your browser.

    2. If you are using a public computer, you may not want to select this option.

  2. Click Sign In.
The TMT Fleet Maintenance landing page opens.

    Notes:

    1. If this is the first time you are logging in, you must register as a new user.

    2. If your username or password is incorrect, a message appears. Repeat Steps 1 and 2. If you are unable to log in after a specific number of attempts, the system locks you out. You must wait (usually 15 minutes) before you can try again. A message appears informing you when you can log in again. See also Requesting your username and Resetting your password.

After you open TMT Fleet Maintenance, if you do not use the keyboard or mouse for longer than the default timeout period, TMT Fleet Maintenance stops responding and the Login page reappears.
