Description

Controls whether technicians can enter part lines with negative values on an RO. When TTP receives a part line with a negative value, it returns that number of parts to inventory.

Example

Technicians in TTP can enter parts with negative values in ROs. TTP then returns those parts to inventory.

For example, assume an RO has a part line for four headlights. The technician realizes that only two headlights are needed. By adding a part line for -2 headlights, the technician lets TTP know to return two headlights to inventory.

Description

This option lets you set up the system to allow switching between shops when logging into IWS. Switching is allowed if the destination shop belongs to the same region.

Description

When a part is added to a repair order through Interactive WorkStation or Parts Workstation and the part has OEM, Extended or After Market warranty a warranty label will be printed. The label contains the repair order number, purchase order number, unit id, shop id, part number, date, meter, and component code.

Set the number of minutes that must elapse before Interactive WorkStation will log the employee out and return to the login screen. This is used as a security measure to prevent other employees from using someone else’s login.

Description

If the number of hours is filled in and the mechanic exceeds the maximum shift hours, when the mechanic logs in the next day, they get a warning that maximum shift hours have been exceeded. They cannot log into Interactive WorkStation. A supervisor will need to correct the problem before the mechanic can log in. If they exceeded the maximum shift hours because they forgot to sign out the day before, the warning will allow them to logoff of the current job.

Description

You can enter a buffer time in minutes. This buffer time is used to determine if the overtime feature should be triggered. For example, if a mechanic logged in 5 minutes late and 5 minutes was the buffer, then the overtime feature would not be triggered when they logged out 5 minutes late when their shift is complete.

For example, if this option is active for Shop 01 and a unit is entered on a new RO in shop 01, any pre-existing open ROs for that unit in Shop 01 will be displayed and can be selected instead of creating a new RO.

Description

If a percentage is entered, when tasks are checked in Mechanic Workstation it will compare the mechanic’s total SRT Time including the task checked to the mechanic’s actual RO time plus the percentage amount. If the Total SRT Time is less than or equal to the RO hours times the Max Overage %, the task can be checked. If checking the task would cause the Total SRT Time to exceed the RO Hours times the Max Overage %, an error will be displayed that the task cannot be checked because it will cause the Max SRT Time to be exceeded.

Example: If the Max Overage is 120%, the test to allow checking the task would be as follows: Total SRTTIME ⇐ (RO Hours * 1.20)

Description

When a repair order is closed that has at least one part charge, a prompt will be given to print the report. The mechanic must choose Yes or No.

  1. To use: save the signoff sheet.rpt file to your local machine or the network. Open up the report in Crystal and use the Database > Set Location option to point to your TMT Fleet Maintenance Database using the ODBC driver setup for the SQL database.

  2. Note: The ODBC driver must be set to use Windows authentication.

  3. Edit the TINA Global/User option and enter the path to the report like E:\Crystal Reports\Signoff Sheet.Rpt. Replace E:\Crystal Reports\ with the correct path to the report. The path to the Crystal Report including the Crystal Report name can be up to 254 characters. When a repair order is closed that has at least one part charge, a prompt will be given to print the report. The mechanic must choose Yes or No.

  4. This option works in conjunction with the TINA option Allow Closing of ROs. If the option to allow closing of ROs is set to No, you cannot print the signoff sheet from Mechanic Workstation.

  5. This option also requires that the machine using mechanic workstation has the TMT Crystal Viewer installed.

This option allows the employee to return a tire taken off a unit to the inventory for the shop the repair order is created on.

When an employee assigns a tire to inventory they will be prompted to create a quick repair order. The quick repair order will allow you to assign a credit amount to the tire and will add the tire back into inventory at the new amount.
