These settings are located in the Planner section on the Application Options page. To open the Application Options page, go to Menu > Setup > Options > Application Options.

Auto Create Shop Plans From Repair Orders

Description

This option determines whether creating an RO also creates a plan.

Options

  • NO (default)
    When a repair order is created, a plan will not be created.

  • YES
    When a repair order is created, a corresponding plan will also be created.

Additional notes

  • This option can be overridden at the Shop Option level.

  • The system looks for the setting at the Shop Option level first, then at the Application Option level.

  • If the Shop Option is set differently from the Application Option it becomes independent of the Application Option settings. Changing the Application Option will not sync the Shop Option.

Create Plans When Plan Without RO Exists For A Unit

Description

A plan will always be auto-created when a new repair order is created for a single unit.

Options

  • NO (default)
    If a plan exists for a unit without an associated repair order, new plans will not be auto-created when a new repair order is created for that unit.

  • YES
    A plan will always be auto-created when a new repair order is created for a single unit.

  • This option will only work if the option Auto Create Shop Plans From Repair Orders is checked.

  • This option can be overridden at the Shop Option level.

  • The system looks for the setting at the Shop Option level first, then at the Application Option level.

This setting is located in the Planner: PMs section on the Application Options page.

Display PMs Based On Shop Type

Description

This option determines if PMs are displayed for all units in the PMs Due list in Shop Planner and Shop Scheduler, regardless of the shop associated with it.

Options

  • All Shops
    Shows all PMs due for all units regardless of shop

  • Domicile Shop (default)
    Shows PMs due based on the domicile shop where the Domicile Shop is the same as the Planner Shop.

  • Physical Shop Location
    Shows PMs due based on the Physical Shop Location where the physical shop location is the same as the Planner Shop.

This setting is located in the Planner: Shifts section on the Application Options page.

Allow Time Slot Assignments On A Shift

Description

The shift and its time slots are then assigned to a bay. This allows the scheduling of appointments for the bay. Time slots cannot overlap each other or extend outside the start and end time for that day. Time slots are not allowed on a day when the end time extends to the next day. A day’s start time, end time, and active status cannot be changed if there are time slots associated with that day without first deleting the time slots.

Options

  • NO (default)
    There is no bay assignments on time assignments on a shift.

  • YES
    The shift and its time slots are then assigned to a bay.
