Allow Only One Lunch/Break Per Time Card

Description

When an employee is logged into a time card in Interactive WorkStation, the Lunch button can only be used once within a shift. Once a Lunch is recorded on the time card, the Lunch button will be disabled.

Options

  • NO
    There will be no limit to the number of lunches within a shift.

  • YES (default)
    Only one Lunch can be recorded on a single shift.

Additional notes

  • This option should be used when using time card exports, as the exports assume only one lunch per time card.

Consolidate Time Cards Into Single Payroll Record
This option was added as of V.2020.2.

Description

This setting determines whether the program combines multiple time card records into one record. The records must have the same card code.

Options

  • NO (default)

    The program does not combine time card records with the same charge code when you click Approve Time Cards. Instead, it shows a time approval entry for each record.

  • YES

    When you select time cards with records having the same charge code, the program combine those records into one when you click Approve Time Cards. It shows one time approval record for all records with the same charge code.

Display Payroll Minutes In 100s

Description

In Payroll Approval, the time values will be displayed in 100s instead of seconds. For example, if the time in seconds is 0:45, with this option checked you will see 0.75.

  • NO (default)
    Time values displayed in seconds.

  • YES
    Time values displayed in 100s of a minute.

Payroll Code For Direct Work

Description

When a time card is approved in Payroll Approval, this code will be used as the default Payroll Code for direct work. Indirect codes associated with their own Payroll codes in Codekeys should appear as separate lines in the approval screen.

In summary:

  • Labor for Direct work goes the specified Direct Payroll Code

  • Labor for Indirect codes not associated with a payroll code go to the Direct Payroll code

  • Labor for Indirect codes associate with a payroll code go to the associated code.

Payroll Code For Overtime Work

Description

When a time card is approved in Payroll Approval, the code will be used as the default Payroll Code for overtime work.

Description

From the menu select the day of the week you want the payroll to end on. When you open the Time Card Listing screen the payroll ending date will be the day that you selected, from the previous week.

  • The option Use Payroll Week Ending Day must be set to Yes for this field to be active.

This option is used with the Tina Edit Payroll Approval Process. The day selected here will be used to set the ending day of the previous week when viewing time cards in Interactive WorkStation.
