Troubleshooting TTP

If you encounter an issue running the TTP application in your browser, you can:

  • In Chrome, try running TTP in a new Incognito mode tab.

  • In Edge try running TTP in an InPrivate Window.

Resolving TTP errors

This table reviews some of the most common TTP errors and how to resolve them.

TTP Login

"User is currently locked out"

Check your URL. You may be pointing to the wrong database.

Job Login

"An error occurred while updating the entries. See the inner exception for details."

Contact TMT Support.

TTP Login

"Unknown Error. Please try again later."

Try selecting OK.

If selecting OK does not work, it is possible that the API Server is not running or is not open to the internet. Review the TTP Setup Guide or contact TMT Support.

Time card

"Unable to update time card - shop ID is required. The technician is logged in to an order x-000123 2."

Check the time card editor to see if an earlier time card has an error. If so, the program may have left the technician in an interim status.

TTP Login

"ShopID Value Not Provided"

As a courtesy, this document provides instructions on using Android, Apple, and Windows devices and their browsers. Trimble does not track updates to third party applications. If you are using a different operating system and/or browser, you should consult the vendor’s user documentation for instructions.

To clear your cache, find your operating system and browser, and then complete the instructions.

Android OS

Chrome

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Chrome.

  2. Select More in the screen’s upper-right corner.

  3. Select History.

  4. Select Clear browsing data.

  5. At the top of the screen, select a time range. To delete everything, select All time.

  6. Select these check boxes:

    • Cookies and site data

    • Cached images and files

  7. Select Clear data.

Samsung internet Browser

  1. Open the Samsung internet app.

  2. Select Menu (three horizontal lines).

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select Personal data.

  5. Select Delete browsing data, and then select the options you want.

  6. Select Delete data.

  7. Select Delete.
    The browser clears your cache.

Apple OS (iOS)

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Select the three dots icon in the lower-right corner.

  3. Select History.

  4. Select Clear browsing data.

You can also tap Edit and search for the TTP URL. Once you select the URL, tap Delete in the lower-left corner.

Safari

  1. Open Safari.
    At the bottom of the screen, there is a notebook icon.

  2. Select the notebook icon.
    The screen shows the Clear button.

  3. Select Clear and select today if you browsed TTP today. Otherwise, select the last time it was browsed.

You can also tap the History tab, find the TTP URL, and clear it by swiping left and tapping Delete.

Windows OS

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Select Menu (the three dots icon in the upper-right corner of the browser).

  3. Select Settings > Privacy & services.

  4. Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.

  5. Select these check boxes:

    • Cached images and files

    • Cookies and other site data

  6. Select Clear.
