EDI Communication Manager message tabs

yellowbox

There are several Tabs available within the EDI Communication Manager program, each of which details a certain kind of EDI Message.

In order to maintain a succinct overview of the functionality of each of these Tabs, only those details that are unique to each Tab will be outlined. For an overview of the common details, see the 204 In Tab descriptions.

Header Information

The Header Information Section will display on every individual Message Type’s Tab. Similar to the Header found in the EDI Audit program, this section will display the details for the Trading Partner associated with the selected Message Type.

These Details will automatically populate based on the Trading Partner’s Client Profile (setup in the Customer Profiles program).

Active

Placing a checkmark in this box will enable this Trading Partner/shipper. Removing the checkmark will disable this Trading Partner/shipper from receiving EDI messages. This makes it easy to enable or disable certain Trading Partners/shippers, as you need to.

Search

Clicking the 'Search' button will open a form where you can select a Trading Partner for the current Message from the Client IDs setup in your system. Once a Client Profile is chosen, the associated details will appear automatically in the Trading Partner section.
