Using shortcuts specific to TMW Operations

Using the Order Maintenance shortcuts

These shortcuts can be used when you are in the Order Maintenance window. Some shortcuts may perform the same or a different function, or perform no function, in other TMW Operations applications.

Some keyboard shortcuts may perform different functions in different applications. This table does not include shortcuts that are common to all applications.
Shortcut Function

CTRL+N or CTRL+U

Creates a new order.

CTRL+O

Opens the record that corresponds to the ID you entered in the record lookup fields.

CTRL+Q

In the All Stops tab in Order Maintenance, expands the list of stops to display the commodity information for each stop.

CTRL+R

Creates a new master order.

CTRL+Y

Displays the Copy Order/Trip window, which you can use to copy an order or an entire movement.

CTRL+DELETE

Deletes the stop currently selected in the All Stops tab and the commodity line for that stop.

CTRL+INSERT

Inserts a line for a stop event above the stop currently selected.

CTRL+SHIFT+H

Displays the shipper information for the order currently displayed in the Shippers window.

CTRL+SHIFT+J

Displays the consignee information for the order currently displayed in the Consignees window.

CTRL+SHIFT+N

Displays the Cancel Order window, which you can use to cancel the order currently in view.

CTRL+SHIFT+Q

Displays the Drag Dropped Orders Queue window.

CTRL+SHIFT+S

Displays the Schedule Queue window. This window lists each stop for which a scheduled appointment has been made.

SHIFT+INSERT

Inserts a line for a stop event after the last scheduled stop.

F2

Displays the Summary tab.

F3

Displays the All Stops tab.

F4

Displays the Stop Detail tab.

F5

Displays the Profit and Loss tab.

F8

Displays the Activity Audit tab.

Using the Planning Worksheet shortcuts

CTRL+R is unique to the Planning Worksheet window.

Shortcut Function

CTRL+R

Refreshes the information currently in view in both the Available Trips and Available Resources grids.

Note: If no information has been retrieved in the Available Resources grid, only the Available Trips grid is refreshed.

Using the Trip Folder shortcuts

These shortcuts can be used when you are in the Trip Folder window. Some shortcuts may perform the same or a different function, or perform no function, in other primary tabs.

This table does not include shortcuts that are common to all applications.
Shortcut Function

CTRL+K

Displays the Copy Order/Trip window, which you can use to copy an order or an entire movement.

CTRL+N

Initiates creation of a new order.

CTRL+O

Opens the record that corresponds to the ID you entered in the record lookup fields.

CTRL+Y

Displays the Copy Order/Trip window, which you can use to copy an order or an entire movement.

CTRL+DELETE

On the Stops tab, deletes the stop currently selected.

On the Freight tab, deletes commodity currently selected.

Note: You can also use the SHIFT+DELETE shortcut to perform this action.

SHIFT+INSERT

On the Stops tab, inserts a line for a stop event after the last scheduled stop.

On the Freight tab, inserts a line for a commodity after the last commodity listed.
