HubTran is a web-based tool that automates the payables process for freight brokers. HubTran organizes incoming invoices and paperwork from carriers. It extracts data from those documents, and creates appropriate payables records.

TMW Operations sends legheader, order header, and carrier profile information to HubTran. It also sends data for associated stops, freight, companies, and pay details. Once HubTran receives invoice detail information from the carrier, it matches it to the legheader information. When matches are found, HubTran sends back a request to release the legheader’s pay for the carrier.

In HubTran, a load represents the physical truck movement, which equates to a trip segment or legheader in TMW Operations. A shipment represents the unit of cargo that is picked up and delivered. Shipments equate to freight details in TMW Operations. A load is billed on a carrier invoice.
