General setup for scroll windows

Trimble applications provide access to windows, called scroll windows or Quick Find windows, which allow you to look up listings of master file or trip-related records. The behavior of these scroll windows can be changed by using the settings in your TTS50.

The scroll views determine which fields in which data tables are used as restrictions for a scroll window, as well which ones will be listed as columns in the window’s data retrieval grid. Although the system is installed with one view for each scroll window, a Trimble system administrator can use SQL to enhance those views or create new views to meet users' needs.

Settings that affect scroll windows

Your TTS50 contains global settings that control how Trimble’s applications operate. These settings allow you to configure features to meet the needs of your company. This section of the help file provides information about settings that you can use to modify scroll window behavior.
