TruETA user topics

First available in: TMW Operations 2019.4

Requirements:

Before you can use TruETA in TMW Operations, you must:

  • Have the TruETA license applied to your TMWSuite database.

  • Download, install, and configure SystemsLink and WorkCycle.

  • Set up TMW Operations to use TruETA.

Starting with TMW Operations 2019.4, TruETA is the default TruETA module. If your company uses the TruETA Agent module instead of the TruETA module, stop reading these topics and follow the steps listed in Introduction to TruETA Agent.

If you experience any issues with TruETA, contact your company’s system administrator.

TruETA is a cloud-based, trip-planning tool that uses real-time data to calculate an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for each stop along a truck’s route. You use this data to pre-plan a driver’s trip or to determine if a driver will be late to a stop.

TruETA is available on these windows:

  • Trip Folder

The TruETA tab displays additional TruETA information about the trip. This tab displays the planned route, actual check call or GPS data from the tractor, and a list of stops and rest stops.

Note: If your company uses TMW Go! Driver, your drivers will see a similar screen in the app. That screen allows your drivers to update/change rest stops as they complete the trip. For more details, see the TMW Go! Driver online help.

  • Planning Worksheet

If enabled, you can use the TruETAPrePlan column to see if a driver would be early, on-time, or late as you plan their trip.

  • Company Planner

Your company may choose to enable and set up Company Planner to display elements of the TruETA feature. If you have questions, contact your system administrator.
